If I can master one foreign language, it will be English. Before I entered high school, my parents had taken me to almost 20 countries, including China, Japan, Hong Kong… and America. After going abroad so many times. I realized one thing: English is really important and useful. No matter which country we went, my father always communicates with the foreigners in English. Therefore, I fell in love with English since I was young, and mastering this language became one of my biggest dream.
I will keep studying English after graduating from high school. I also want to go abroad on my own, maybe for one or two month. I believe it will largely improve my English. There still so many things I want to do after I really” master” English. Teaching is also good. I can teach the children who can not afford to go to cram school for free. Then there will be more and more children fall in love with English just like me. I believe that there will be many things a person master English can do for the world, only if he or she wants.

First of all, I live in Nei-hu. But, in fact, I don’t really like this place. Instead, Songshan District, Taipei is my favorite place. There are so many things I like about Songshan while there is only one about Nei-hu- a bigger home.
The reason I like Songshan is that I used to live in there for almost ten years. Therefore, I always consider it to be my home, not Nei-hu. When I lived in Taipei, it only took me three minutes walking to school every morning. And there are two department stores, four coffee shops, and several restaurants in my neighborhood. Then, my favorite place, a park right in front of my home. This is another reason why I like Songshan so much. I almost spent my whole childhood in that park playing with my parents and friends.
After graduating from junior high school. I moved to Nei-hu. At first, I didn’t even want to step out of my home. Because I thought there was nothing fun outside. However, in recent years, my perspective has changed. Hei-hu is not that bad now. Every place has its own uniqueness. I am learning to discover them. Even it is not the place I call “home”.

July 28th is Tom’s birthday. He invited all his classmates to his home and celebrated together. But Tom’s parents had a surprise for him. Right after Tom’s friends left, he saw a box in his bedroom with” Happy birthday” on it. He carefully opened it and a dog jumped out suddenly. Tom was so happy because he loved animals very much. “O.K. I’m going to name you after me, Tommy! ”
The next morning. Tom woke up early and took Tommy to the park for a walk. But Tom can’t find Tommy after he went to buy two ice cream for both of them. He looked all over the park but still couldn’t find Tommy. Tom tried everything he could, asking the police, calling Tommy’s name loudly, and even asking all his friends to help. Finally, he gave up and started crying. He was really sad, and he really hoped that Tommy would suddenly appear somewhere and smile at him, but it didn’t.
Tom went back home sadly. To his surprise, he saw Tommy right in front of the door and smiling at him. Tom’s parents said that Tommy had come home for a while. “What a smart dog! He could go home by himself! ”, said Tom’s mother. Tom was overjoyed and also learned a lesson: always keep your eye on your dog when you are out.

In the park near Sally’s home, Sally was playing with a cat. The cat was adorable, and Sally also found it seemed able to understand what she said. She had so much fun playing with the cat. Therefore, she decided to take it home.
Sally was shocked on her way home because there were about five more cats following her. She spent a lot of time” explaining” to them, ” Kitty is the only one I’m going to take it home.” Finally, Sally returned home without the other cats. In fact, she was very nervous because she was afraid that her mother would not allow her to keep Kitty. After dinner, Sally asked her mother about keeping Kitty at home. To her surprise, her mother agreed immediately. “Thanks, mother.” Sally was overjoyed and started to play with Kitty happily.
But something bad happened. Sally found that the cat which had followed her was in her room and there was an incredible mess a few weeks later. There were foods and garbage all around the room and the cats were still playing innocently. As a result, her mother was insanely mad and made all the cats out of the door, including Kitty. Sally was heartbroken and had never seen Kitty again since then.

If someone asks me, “Who is the most important person for you?” I will answer without a slight hesitation, “My mother.”
My mother has given me a lot of useful advice, such as “Pay attention to what you are doing until you finish it,” and “you should take the full responsibility for what you’ve done.” Sometimes, she even told me, “Your father and I won’t take care of you forever, we’ll die someday.” It might sound cruel, but it’s the truth, and it also reminds me that I have to be independent.
What my mother has told me makes me become more mature and thoughtful. I keep her advice in mind. She is also my best friend because I always share what is in my mind with her. I really love her so much and I will never forget every one of sentences she have told me.

It was a normal afternoon. As usual, Eva was cooking dinner in the kitchen but something strange was going to happen……
Eva heard some noise. It was her dog, Happy. ” Hey! Happy, don’t play with the garbage! ” Eva said angrily. But then, she couldn’t believe her eyes. There was a gorilla standing beside the door! Eva screamed and was totally out of her mind. Luckily, it was not a real”gorilla”. It was Eva’s boyfriend, Shane.
A few minutes later. Shane told Eva that he just wanted to give her a surprise because it was Valentine’s Day. So Eva was not angry anymore and they had their dinner happily.
